The ensemble cast also includes BAFTA recipient Jason Watkins ( The Crown), Stuart Campbell ( Baptiste), Theo Barklem-Biggs, Corin Silva, Bobby Schofield, Moritz Jahn, Ralph Davis, Arthur Orcier, Virgile Bramly, David Alcock, Tom Hygreck, Jordy Lagbre, Paul Boche, Anthony Calf, Ian Davies, Adran Lukis, and Isobel Laidler. Deckbuilding is just fun, digital or analogue. The star-studded Rogue Heroes cast counts Connor Swindells ( Sex Education, Barbie) as David Sterling, Alfie Allen ( Game of Thrones) as Jock Lewes, Sofia Boutella ( Atomic Blonde) as Eve, Dominic West ( The Wire, The Affair) as Lieutenant Colonel Wrangel Clarke, and Jack O’Connell ( Skins, Lady Chatterely’s Lover) as Paddy Mayne. My rack is filled with so many iterations from clank over cubitos to arnak. Yet I'm really hungry for Deckbuilders since the first time I played Dominion. Never tried any fancy modes, just choosing one of the chars and try to find some way to make it through alive. It's really more meditative then anything else, but still fun for me. Part of the reason why I played so much StS is that it's the perfect game to play on my tablet when going to bed. I "only" have 70 hours in Roguebook, but given how many of these games I've played now, to find one this good was just pure joy. Classic Weapons: Rogue Heroes features classic top-down swordplay with a large range of tools, spells, and weapons to use as you explore Tasos and tackle the Great Dungeons. So much, in fact, that I ended up going down a dark road looking for StS-like games, like Hand of Gilgamesh, DreamGate and even sank 20 hours into the excellent (but naughty, and non-native) Neoverse. I played 100 hours or so of StS and loved it. Slay the Spire might be my most played game of all time. It surpasses its own inspiration - I'd rather play this than Slay the Spire any day of the week. That comment just cost me 16 Euros.
